With the entry of VS Factory, competition in the Rolecks Day-Date replica market will be much stronger in 2026. Many factories are producing Day-Date models now, so a common question is which factory makes the best one.
If your budget is limited, GM Factory is a good choice. If you have more budget, RC Factory is the better option.
RC Factory is relatively new. They started producing replicas in 2025. So far they have released Day-Date models and two Submariners. Their most popular and in-demand product is the Day-Date. Ordering one is often difficult and usually requires a long waiting time.
The yellow gold Day-Date shown here is a new VS model, but RC has been producing this version for some time. This watch looks very luxurious and is commonly known by the nickname “black rock sugar”.
Gold tone and finishing
The gold tone on this RC Day-Date looks very good. It is not overly bright or yellow. For comparison, the yellow gold tone from THB Factory looks too yellow. RC’s gold color is much closer to the genuine watch.
Another advantage is the gold coating. The entire watch can be wrapped with gold coating. Factories like CBD and THB cannot do this properly. Their bracelets often show visible cracks after coating.
Clasp and engraving
One standout detail is the clasp engraving.
I especially like the dog head mark. It is deeply engraved and very clear. I compared it directly with the latest QF Day-Date clasp and the RC clasp is noticeably better.
Shortcomings
This Day-Date also has a few flaws.
• Under magnification, you can see slight burrs on the edges of the hands
• This issue exists on almost all factories’ watches
• Clean Factory had the best hand finishing, but it is now closed
• The hour markers use zircon instead of diamonds
• No factory currently uses real diamonds or moissanite on Day-Date models
