This month, VS, Clean, and APS have released some new replica watches. VS introduced the Milgauss and Panerai, APS released the new Portuguese 7 Days Power Reserve, and these two Daytona replicas are from Clean Factory. Both feature a crystal see-through back—one with regular stick hour markers and the other with diamond hour markers.
Q was the first factory to produce replicas of these two Daytona models. I’ve reviewed the Q Factory version before, and it’s a good replica. I’ve always hoped Clean Factory would make this Daytona, and now the Clean version has finally been released. As far as I know, APS Factory is also planning to produce these two models.
I received two Daytona watches directly from Clean Factory, and both look very impressive. Each watch weighs about 147 grams, which is lighter than the version made by Q Factory. However, when it comes to Daytona replicas, I always recommend Clean.
For the same Daytona models made by both Clean and Q, the Clean version offers much better dial details and case finishing. The two Clean Daytona replicas are equipped with the Shanghai 4131 movement, which has a very low or even nonexistent repair rate, similar to the Dandong 4130. Unfortunately, there isn’t a clone 4131 movement that can match the high stability of the Dandong 4130.
The dial colour and polishing are very close to that of the genuine watch, and I must admit that the bracelet finish is also better than that of Rolex replicas made by VS. Clean Factory pays great attention to finishing details. Sometimes, VS or QF may release a Rolex replica first, but when Clean releases the same replica, it often has a superior finish—that’s a fact.
