How long have you been a seller for?

I started in 2007, running brick-and-mortar stores, selling handbags. So, I’ve been a salesman for 11 years. I have received a variety of guests. I can understand the mentality of a variety of guests. Friendly, savage greedy of small and cheap. My husband is a Chinese handbag designer. He began to work on the production and design of leather products in 2002. He is very familiar with the material and craft of various handbags. The happiest thing about him is that buyers like his products. (Mod Note: I think both OC and his wife were answering some of these questions. I asked him why this question was answered as “my husband” and he said they are now working together on that account)

What do you like most about your job?

Through this sales job I have made a lot of international friends. Many guests (customers) invited me to visit their country tourism. We also received many gifts from guests in different countries. This is something that makes me very happy. The guest’s approval of me is better than making a profit.

What do you like the least about your job?

When encountering a cheater or a guest who likes to theaten a seller, I will be sad. Still have a few guests who don’t know enough about the authentic products but she complains about my products. It hurts me.

If you were not a seller, what job would you like to have instead?

I think I’ll keep working as a salesman. I like it. If I am not a salesman, I will sum up all my experience to train new salesman. Being a trainer is also a good job.

What is the funniest or weirdest thing a customer has ever asked you or said to you?

Many guests shared with me the joys of their family life, especially funny things about their children.

What is the meanest thing a customer has ever said to you and it hurt your feelings?

The occasional guests (says something mean) but I’ll soon forget what they said because most people are friendly.

What is your favorite designer brand?

There is none. I only care about the style and quality. I don’t pay attention to the brand logo.

What bag or shoe style do you like right now? If your buyer asks you what to buy, what would you recommend to them?

This question is not easy to reply to because people from different countries have different interests and hobbies. Even in the same county, different people like different things. But I usually recommend the best-selling, the classic to my new guests. The most stable quality of goods.

If you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing you would do with the money?

To improve the environment for my parents and teachers in my later years, it could be renovating their houses and buying advanced household goods. And also, repay those who have helped me.
