Now, these watches have grown increasingly expensive in recent years.
The technology behind watchmaking has significantly improved, and the watches are getting better and better.
But is it really worth spending more than 800 US Dollars on a replica watch?
Even the best replicas, such as Daytona and Submariner—whether produced by Clean or VS—are not without flaws.
Some cheap replicas can function accurately for years, while some super clones may break or develop issues within just a few weeks of receipt.
For the AP watch we are discussing today, APS Factory has been developing its 4401 movement since 2023.
After two years of research and development, this super clone 4401 finally emerged in January 2025.
It is the first chronograph movement in the industry to feature a flyback function.
While it is more complex than the DD4130 movement developed by Noob previously, I cannot say that the 4401 is more durable or stable than the Dandong 4130.
The stability and durability of the 4401 will only be proven over time, whereas the Dandong 4130 remains the most stable chronograph movement used in replica watches.
For the AP 26240, APS currently offers four stainless steel models and one black ceramic model, while the rose gold models are still pending.
The four stainless steel models feature dial options in white, black, blue, and green.
I recommend opting for the white or black dial versions, as the blue and green options have noticeable colour differences.
Fortunately, you do not need to pay extra for a dial replacement since some dealers already offer that service.
The polishing and brushing finishes on the case and bracelet are superb.
The checkers on the dial and the patterns on each checker are 1:1 clones of the genuine article.
With their experience in producing the AP 15500, APS has crafted an excellent dial for the 26240.
I have taken many photos of its dial—please have a look below and let me know if you can spot any flaws.
There are a few obvious issues on the APS 26240:
- The screws are aligned on the same horizontal plane as the bezel face, when they should be slightly recessed.
- The end link of the bracelet that connects to the case lacks flexibility.
- The engravings on the movement plates are shallow, and the gold tone of the auto rotor is inaccurate—likely due to the rotor not being made of solid gold.
You do not need to rush into buying the AP 26240. Wait for more reviews before making your decision.
Like the AP 15500 and 15407, APS is expected to make improvements to the 26240 in the coming months.
By the way, the 26240 has a thickness of 12.4mm and weighs 170.7 grams.
