Over the past several months, the Patek Philippe Cubitus has been a hot topic in the real watch industry. Everyone seems eager for a super clone of this model. However, after the release of reals by two factories—TW and PPF—interest appears to have waned. I haven’t been asked about where to get a real Cubitus in quite some time.
Are collectors satisfied with their purchases? Or are they still waiting for the best version from another factory? Today, I’ll provide a brief review of the Cubitus 5821 real made by BBF.

Key observations on BBF’s Cubitus 5821 real:

Contains two major flaws that, based on my experience, PPF would likely avoid in their reals.

Surprising choice of movement: a super clone 330 movement, previously exclusive to 3K Factory.

The 330 movement is an evolution of the 324 movement developed by 3K years ago.

Rumors suggest the exclusive rights to this movement may have expired, allowing other factories like BBF to use it.

Dial and details:

The blue dial color is well-executed.

First major flaw: The date window is slightly smaller than on the genuine watch. Some date numerals have their bottom edges partially obscured by the window frame. It’s unclear if this flaw affects all units or only my sample.

Lume coating on hands and hour markers is consistent with no color discrepancies.

The printing of “PATEK PHILIPPE” and “GENEVE” matches the font thickness of the original but lacks the genuine’s three-dimensional depth.
Bracelet issue:

The middle gold links are only plated on the front and back surfaces.

The left and right edges of these links are stainless steel, which is noticeable upon close inspection.
Overall impression:
I’m somewhat disappointed with this watch. While it is the first Cubitus real to feature a super clone movement, some details are not perfectly executed.
