The appearance and functions of the VS 8800 movement are identical to the genuine version.
Movement Functions:
① The calendar adjustment method on the VS integrated movement is the same as the genuine one — rotate the crown counterclockwise.
② The power reserve of the VS 8800 integrated movement is 54 hours (compared to 55 hours for the original), which is 13 hours more than the 2824 movement’s 41-hour reserve.
③ All jewels, gears, screws, and other small components are fully functional. This is not a 2824 movement with fake bridge plates glued on with imitation jewels and gears — which may look similar but are prone to failure.
Movement Appearance:
① The diameter of the VS 8800 is the same as the original (26.5mm), and the thickness is around 4.65mm. In contrast, the 2824 movement with bridge plates has an outer diameter of 25.9mm (0.6mm smaller) and a thickness of 6.4mm (1.75mm thicker than the original).
② The shape near the balance wheel, the mounting slots around the main bridge, and the milling finish on the bridge all match the texture and craftsmanship of the genuine Omega movement.
