How long have you been a seller for?

Our company has existed since 1994 and we have a retail store. I started to become a seller in 2019 when I saw potential in new interesting market

How did you end up doing this job?

This is the family business which my parents started 30 years ago. I am the second generation that is leading the business.

What do you like most about your job?

Hah funny thing is, I don’t take this as a job. This is more way of life as it’s crazy interesting.

The most interesting part is how fast pace industry is and how fast you have to adapt to new things.

Creativity and information have to be on the highest level in order to survive 🙂

What do you like the least about your job?

Paperwork and logistics. They kill creativity but it’s part of the job that everyone has to do if they are small business owners.

If you were not a seller, what job would you like to have instead?

Probably I would be in the marketing world.

I really love marketing and it’s always interesting to test things that are outside of the box.

Sometimes it works like crazy, sometimes it sucks.

What is the funniest or weirdest thing a customer has ever asked you or said to you?

We had one guy that sprayed fragrance in his eye and he called us on the phone to beg us to tell him he won’t die and that he is too young to die. Still our team laughs about that scene when we talk about it.

What is the meanest thing a customer has ever said to you and it hurt your feelings?

We had a customer that got fragrance, told us they suck, threatened to post reviews that they are bad for skin, posted a review somewhere (I think it got deleted later), chargeback and 6 months after placing order again. The guy just wanted free fragrances, nothing more.

What is the nicest thing a customer has ever said to you?

We had really kind words from different customers, but one that I really remember is one customer who was so amazed of the smell of the fragrance that it reminded him of his mother fragrance that he could reckon from childhood memory. He told us his mom isn’t there with us anymore, but the fragrance is something that makes the memory speak.

Do you wear or use reps too?

I used to get a lot of hauls from 2017-2020.

The last time when I visited China end of 2023, I went directly to cssbuy warehouse in Hangzhou to pick them up myself. So not as before, but yeah I do!

What is the most popular item you sell?

The most popular fragrance is definitely “Bakar” that is inspired by Baccarat Rouge 540.

People go crazy over that fragrance.

What is your favorite fragrance and brand?

Ah very hard question. I love so many different kinds of fragrances so I would have to split.

If I am choosing the brand, it would be Maison Margiela as I love their whole backstory about the brand and fragrances.

If I am choosing a specific fragrance, I really change it from time to time.

My top ones right now are Citrus Wave (Inspired by Mandarino di Amalfi)

Cinnamon tea (Inspired by Angel Share)

Freedom of life (Inspired by Allure homme sport)

What fragrances are you wearing currently?

In this moment, I got a sample of Wild Bergamot with me (Inspired by Sauvage) because its always sitting in my backpack haha.

If your buyer asks you what to buy, what would you recommend to them?

It really depends on what kind of fragrance somebody likes, depending on the weather conditions in the country (time of the year) and how much are they willing to experiment.

We have made a filter option on the website so you can choose for different occasions, and different notes and it will tell you to recommend you the most desired fragrance for yourself.

What is your favourite American/Western movie?

Ah, I love Escape from Shawshank, one of the best movies I ever watched.

What is your favourite American/Western TV show?

As a kid I loved Malcolm in the middle, but right now I love watching South Park/Family guy from time to time

What type of music do you listen to?

Techno. Once I have free time and I see some good festival, I try not to miss it.

What is your favorite dish to eat?

I don’t have favorite ones but if I can put a few that I could eat all the time it would be Korean BBQ, Gyros and Serbian bbq. Yes I love meat 😂

What is your favorite drink?

Beer. I love beer. I have an untapped app where I rate beers with my friends.

What do you like to do on your days off?

I don’t like taking time off as I am 101% into business, but I have a non-disclosure agreement that once weekly I have to take at least half a day off to rest my brain.

I love various activities then, mostly hiking or visiting nature.

I am travelling a lot also, a lot for business but also casually but I bring work with me, so it’s half semi-time off.

I have a drone also that I like using to take nice pictures when I hike and also I plan to get my aeroplane driving lesson (its quite affordable in Serbia for 4 seater). But that’s a plan in the future once I have more time.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a 2kg doggo named Pako (Like Paco Rabanne). He is a mini Yorkshire terrier and he has a very interesting character so its never annoying with him.

If you could visit any city or country in the world, where would it be?

As written above I have travelled to quite a few countries, around 40 so far.

My biggest wish is to learn Spanish better and backpack Southern America. One of the things in my bucket list as soon as I stabilise the whole business.

If you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing you would do with the money?

Re-invest all into business. I know what we are doing is going to be big in the future and every penny is going back into business.
