Before introducing a new Panerai watch, I’d like to share some exciting news from the market. Clean has decided to use the Dandong 4131 movement in its new 12xxxx series Daytona. Additionally, the Panda Daytona 126500 already features the Dandong 4130 movement. This is fantastic news for watch enthusiasts as we enter 2025, as it will further intensify the competition between Clean and VS in the Daytona market.
Now, onto the new Panerai model from VS Factory. The genuine Panerai PAM 1543 is crafted from the new Ti-Ceramitech material, but I suspect the replica uses a ceramic case instead, as it still feels quite heavy in hand. The bezel insert and case share the same matte finish, with a consistent colour between them. The crown lever is made of titanium with a matte finish as well. Over the past few months, VS Factory has released several Luna Rossa Panerai replica watches.
The dial is white, and the hour and minute hands have a more modern design compared to some older Submersible models, both featuring a skeletonised look. The small seconds hand on the subdial at 9 o’clock is red, enhancing overall readability. The small date window at 3 o’clock has a black font on a white background, with the date perfectly centred within the window.
The case back features accurate engravings, although the TORPEDO PIG logo isn’t as sharp as on the genuine model. Inside, the watch houses a super clone P.900 automatic movement, one of the earliest super clone movements VS Factory used in Panerai replicas.
The strap is very comfortable, with an outer nylon layer that gives the watch a stylish appearance. The inner rubber side, which touches the skin, ensures excellent wearing comfort.
